A small team, split across two practices, on call for both.
We keep the team small enough that you always know who's handling your account: no rotating support tickets, no new faces at every meeting. Collectively, MCG's staff bring more than 40 years of combined experience in EdTech. Founder Jones Mays was an award-winning teacher himself, and every member of our staff stays keenly aware of what educators actually need, not just what a system can technically do.
Jones Mays
Part of the EdTech field since the early 1990s, when he scheduled some of Houston ISD's original NetDay events, built the district's first school-based website, and was named HISD Teacher of the Year in 1997, before founding Holly Springs School District's technology department in 2000, where his work earned a national Cisco Systems "EdTech Leader on the Move" award in 2005. Founded MCG in 2010; 20+ years leading nonprofit and education technology strategy; currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Educational Technology Leadership at Pepperdine University.
